Megan Wakelam is an artist based in Bristol.
Inspired by the landscapes she immerses herself within, the works produced are often site-specific. When not working outside in the elements, paintings are being created from collected memories or sketches back in the studio. Megan's art evokes atmosphere and senses of journey through collecting and using materials found on her travels.
A continuous concern for the environment drives her practice as she aims to capture the essence of natural spaces.
