Megan Wakelam studied Fine Art BA (Hons) at Plymouth University from 2014 - 2017 after completing a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design at Birmingham Metropolitan College. She graduated in September 2017 and achieved the Plymouth Award.
During her studies, she worked as a Student Ambassador for the University (September 2015 - August 2017), co-led Plymouth University Printmaker's Society (September 2016 - August 2017) and took on an Administrative Internship at KARST gallery (September 2016 - February 2017).
After graduating, Megan worked as an Art Ambassador for the National Trust at Buckland Abbey (September 2017 - February 2018). Now living and working in Somerset, she has been an artist in residence at Clayhill Arts since May 2019 after being awarded the Creative Pathways Bursary for emerging artists.
